What Every Pasta Lover Should Know

Pasta, Italian bread, and a nice piece of cake for desert. What could be better?

I used to love these foods, but they're on the list of ones that didn't love me back. Until I gave up all grain products, the colitis that haunted me for years just wouldn't give in.

As much as we love them, grains are addicting, contain opioid peptides capable of breaching the blood brain barrier and affecting our behavior, and play a role in a variety of diseases such as schizophrenia and celiac disease.

Grains are so prevalent in our diets that most people are daunted by the idea of giving them up, unsure of how to satisfactorily plug the gaps.

Luckily, there is a delicious, satisfying, and healthy alternative that most people never consider.
