Overcome Your Cravings - Raw Food Health Journal, Issue # 006
February 04, 2009

Welcome to issue #6 of the Raw-Food-Health Journal

Hey guys. Hope winter is treating you well, or summer, for my southern hemisphere readers.

My ads are a frequent topic of conversation among my emailers. They wonder why some of the google ads that appear in my articles are blatantly in opposition to the very things I say.

I completely agree that it's not an ideal situation, and I'm working to get them off my site and replaced by something more appropriate.

Here's the problem. I'm devoted to keeping this information, which I feel should be accessible to everyone regardless of their ability to pay, completely free.

Unlike most raw food sites out there, I'm not asking for membership dues, and I'm not hawking a book a special herbal blend that will give you superpowers. I just want everyone to have the opportunity to heal from disease and find a new lease on life like I did.

That being said, I put hours and hours into this site, and I don't find it unreasonable that I make enough to pay for the hefty hosting bill and get some money on the side. I don't feel the need to apologize for this.

So, especially for those ardently against my ads, I have a request. If you are aware of any appropriate companies, organizations, natural hygiene practitioners, etc, that would like to advertise on this site, then I'd be greatly appreciative if you could point them in my direction. Have them send me an email.

Why would they want to? The site gets about 200 visitors a day right now, and that increases every month. The people who arrive here are health concious and usually interested in alternatives to the standard medical model.

Appropriate sponsors might include raw food events, fruit and fruit tree dealers, physical trainers, athletic organizations, etc.

Anyway, just throwing it out there.

Peace. -Andrew
