Change In Body Chemistry On A Raw Diet Repelling Mosquitoes?

Mark's Question:
Hi Andrew,
Is it possible that eating a raw-food diet can change your body chemistry such that mosquitoes will find you less appetizing?
I have always been eaten alive by mosquitoes plus other biting bugs here in WI. Since beginning a strong raw-food diet, nearly 100%, this past December I have lost about 20 pounds, my energy is greatly increased, and along with my other quality of life improvements I have only received one mosquito bite so far this Spring/Summer season! By now I am usually itching like crazy and covered in bites. Others are getting bit, but not me.
I've made no other changes besides becoming a vegetarian and going raw.
Andrew's Answer:
Hi Mark.
Yep, there are indeed some bodily changes going on which I'd be willing to bet are playing a role here.
Plenty of low fat raw vegans have told me they've noticed they get bit a lot less than they used to.
I do as well, but I've also noticed that when I do get bitten, the bites seem a lot less itchy than they used to.
I decided to do some research on this topic a few years back, and contacted a few experts.
I think you'll enjoy reading the article I wrote about the subject.
