Is It Ok To Eat Oats?
by Jane
(Manchester)
Jane's Question: Can you eat natural porridge oats with almond milk as a replacement?
Andrew's Answer: Grain crops of all types have down sides.
Most grains contain addictive opioids. Wheat has been found to contain 15 opioid peptides, for instance.
These have the ability to cross the blood-brain barrier and affect our central nervous system, changing our perception of reality, mood, and behavior.
Think of grains as a weaker version of narcotic drugs. People "craving bread" may actually be going through withdrawal.
Also, oats must be cooked, which destroys them as a viable food.
In short, skip the grains and go with raw fruits and vegetables, man's perfect food.
