Protein On A Raw Vegan Diet?
by Marie
(Oak Harbor)
Marie's Question: I am having trouble convincing my husband that you can get a good amount of protein in a raw food diet. I am new at this diet and just starting researching it. I just need a good explanation of how and what foods are high in protein. please help! My hubby thinks im nuts!
Andrew's Answer: There is plenty of protein on a raw vegan diet. Fruits and vegetables provide all we need, and nuts and seeds add even more on top of this.
I'm very athletically active and have no problems putting on muscle, although I'm a runner by preference and don't have any desire to gain a lot.
