Thanks for the comment.

I meant when I transition to an almost raw food diet, I don't feel I have enough energy. I eat a variety of plants and fruits and nuts, but I feel that I need something extra to keep my blood sugar up, and that is usually a protein, such as egg powder, eggs, etc. It gives me stamina and brings my energy back up. I have added nuts and avocado (which I cannot tolerate very well) to my smoothies, but they don't work as well as a traditional protein. I am trying to finish the transition and would really to stop the egg powder. I can't help but think the egg powder has something in it that my body needs and I am trying to find a green smoothie recipe that might cover that missing nutrient.

Hi Lyz.

Like I said, I don't know what you're eating, so can't really be specific.

Most people starting raw diets fail to eat enough calories, or take in far too many calories from fat. Not all raw diets are equal, and even if the content is good, you can be eating too much or too little of something to provide the right type of calories. Fruit needs to be the major staple, with many fruits consumed per meal.

If you're looking for one on one assistance to sort out the problem, I'd be happy to work with you through my coaching program.
