What Do You Eat Daily On A Raw Food Diet?
by Daniel
(Cincinnati, Ohio)
Daniel's Question: I would like to know what you eat on a regular basis. Can you give me a typical day of food you eat from the time you wake up til' the time you go to sleep? Thanks.
Andrew's Answer:
Sure, Daniel.
Just how much food I eat in terms of calories varies on a day to day basis as my level of physical exertion changes, but I'll give you a hypothetical day of needing around 2,900 calories. Keep in mind I could tweak my menu by selecting more high-calorie foods or low-calorie foods, altering the volume I'm consuming.
This volume of food probably seems large if you're used to eating SAD portions, but believe me, you adapt and come to love it. I feast every day!
Breakfast: Three large cantaloupe (830 Calories)
Lunch: 10 medium bananas (1050 calories)
Dinner:
Course One: 17 medium peaches (650 calories
Salad Course: Two heads of red leaf lettuce (99 calories) mixed in with two medium tomatoes (52 calories) and a 250-calorie portion of Mango Delight dressing from Savory Raw Dressings and Sauces.
